Scope and governing priority
This policy applies to purchases, bookings, subscriptions, marketplace transactions, instructor-led offerings, vendor products, creator content, and other paid Efibb services unless the checkout, a clearly disclosed seller or provider policy, a written enterprise agreement, or mandatory consumer law gives the customer greater rights. Requests should be submitted promptly through the order record or Support Center.
Buyer refund eligibility
Efibb may approve a full refund, partial refund, account credit, replacement, rescheduling, or other remedy when an item or service is not delivered, is materially defective or misdescribed, is charged more than once, is unauthorized, fails a stated service commitment, or must be refunded under applicable law. Evidence may be requested when reasonably necessary to investigate the claim.
Digital learning, CodeArena, and downloadable products
A customer may request a refund within 14 days of purchase when the digital service or product has not been materially consumed. Material consumption may include completing a substantial part of a course, downloading protected files, using a significant share of paid execution, interview, AI, tutoring, or support allowances, unlocking substantial paid content, or obtaining a completion credential. Defective, inaccessible, unauthorized, or materially misdescribed digital content remains reviewable even after access.
Subscriptions and prepaid access
Prepaid passes do not renew automatically unless checkout clearly states otherwise. Cancelling recurring access stops future renewal. An already-started billing period is not ordinarily refundable except for a stated trial promise, duplicate billing, material service failure, unauthorized payment, mandatory law, or another written Efibb commitment. Any approved prorated amount is based on elapsed time, consumed benefits, and non-recoverable third-party costs.
Physical goods and fulfillment
Return eligibility, return window, shipping responsibility, condition requirements, hygiene exclusions, customization limits, and restocking terms must be shown before purchase. A vendor must provide a lawful remedy for damaged, incorrect, counterfeit, unsafe, undelivered, or materially misdescribed goods. Efibb may require tracking, photographs, inspection evidence, or return confirmation before releasing or reversing funds.
Services, tutoring, events, and admissions support
Cancellation, rescheduling, late-arrival, and no-show rules must be disclosed before booking. Remedies depend on notice, provider preparation, reserved capacity, work already delivered, unavoidable third-party costs, and applicable law. A vendor, instructor, counselor, tutor, mentor, or event provider may not charge for work that was not authorized or delivered and may not promise admission, scholarships, visas, employment, scores, or other guaranteed outcomes.
Vendor, instructor, creator, and provider responsibilities
Vendors, instructors, creators, tutors, counselors, and service providers must publish accurate descriptions, prices, fulfillment terms, availability, cancellation windows, and any lawful product-specific return conditions. They must respond to evidence requests and customer inquiries within the platform deadline, preserve relevant delivery records, avoid directing customers outside Efibb to evade a dispute, and cooperate with recalls, safety actions, moderation, fraud review, and legal obligations. Seller-specific terms cannot remove non-waivable rights or contradict a stronger checkout promise.
Refunds, chargebacks, and creator earnings
When a refund, credit, chargeback, payment reversal, tax adjustment, shipping adjustment, or dispute relates to a vendor, instructor, creator, or provider transaction, Efibb may place the related earnings on hold, deduct the attributable amount from pending or future earnings, reverse unpaid commission entries, or recover an overpayment as allowed by the applicable seller, creator, payout, and payment-provider terms. Efibb will not deduct more than the transaction-related amount, documented fees, taxes, shipping adjustments, or losses permitted by contract and law. Records of the calculation and reason must be retained for audit and appeal.
Platform fees and non-refundable amounts
Payment-provider charges, currency-conversion costs, completed custom work, consumed service time, delivered physical shipping, statutory taxes, and other non-recoverable costs may be excluded from a discretionary refund only when disclosed and lawful. Efibb platform fees and commissions may be reversed proportionally when the underlying transaction is refunded. No fee is treated as non-refundable when applicable law requires its return.
How approved refunds are issued
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method where possible. When that is unavailable or unlawful, Efibb may use an approved alternative or account credit with the customer’s agreement. Provider and bank processing times vary. Efibb does not require anyone to surrender lawful chargeback, regulator, court, or consumer-protection rights, but asks customers to contact support first so duplicate recovery and conflicting remedies can be prevented.
Disputes, appeals, fraud, and abuse
Customers and platform earners may appeal a refund or earnings-adjustment decision through Support with relevant evidence. Efibb may refuse, reverse, or investigate duplicate claims, manipulated usage, false non-delivery reports, account sharing, collusion, payment fraud, policy evasion, or abusive chargebacks while preserving lawful consumer and seller remedies. Accounts, listings, payouts, or access may be temporarily restricted during a proportionate investigation.
